Elijah Story
Working on a double major in Computer Science and New Media at the University of Maine.
My name is Elijah Story. I was born in Alabama and moved to Maine when I was 8. I swam on a YMCA swim team for about 5 years which gave me the ability to become a lifeguard. I have been a waterfront lifeguard for 5 years, a water safety instructor for 3 years, and I am now a lifeguard instructor. Outside of work I love to make things. I love watching shows like Mythbusters and small diy YouTube channels. They inspire me to learn how to work with different materials, tools, and people. My favorite form of making something, would have to be with code. I love the how there are many ways to approach a problem and to try and make things as efficient as possible. A quick summary of myself would include the fact that I love sweet tea, I can swim pretty well, and I love making.
